Description

This Japanese Mounjaro recipe blends matcha, kombu, umeboshi plum, and fresh ginger for a soothing, natural detox drink. Supports gentle weight loss, gut health, and clean energy in a delicious daily ritual.

Ingredients

Scale

1 tsp ceremonial-grade matcha powder

1 tbsp umeboshi plum paste or 12 mashed umeboshi plums

1 small strip kombu (2 inches)

1 tsp freshly grated ginger

1 cup hot water (175°F)

1 tsp raw honey (optional)

Squeeze of lemon (optional)

Instructions

Soak the kombu strip in 1 cup hot water for 3 minutes. Remove and discard kombu.

Add matcha powder to kombu water and whisk until smooth and frothy.

Stir in umeboshi plum paste and freshly grated ginger until dissolved.

Add raw honey or lemon if desired for extra flavor.

Sip slowly and enjoy, ideally in the morning for best results.

Notes

Use non-boiling water to preserve matcha’s antioxidants.

Grate ginger fresh for maximum benefit.

Pair with a light Japanese breakfast for a mindful start.

Substitute mashed umeboshi plums if paste is unavailable.

Enjoy warm or at room temperature for best digestion.
